Hello everyone, charlot-sweetie here to try and explain how the using your values can help break up your art so it's easier read and look nicer.

Values in terms of colours, are your greys~

Key point about most experinced artists is that they will block in the greys for artworks before adding colour or even lineart, so getting them right can make or break an image.
The grey tones help show to depth within the image or to help highlight a feature of the image, to practice this get a light grey, middle grey and dark grey use these colours to define important areas of your image.

Thanks for reading everyone!
I have a favor to ask, it seems our admins are running low on ideas for these journals (outside of going through the history and meaning or every colour) what you guys like to see journals on?

I'd love to see some feature journals or some idea (like 'Lonely grey' or something like that) weekly we can interpret through writing or art or both ^^ :)
